COVID 19 (Coronavirus) has taken its effect on every walk of life. As we might have to adjust to new normal of life, we will assess what impact will it have on Indian Weddings taking place in America.
Indian Weddings as we know it are grand affairs. Of course, the first impact we assess will be on the size of the wedding itself. In days gone by (atleast till a vaccine is found), it was not uncommon to see Indian Weddings with more than 500 guests. Sometimes guests and people flying in from various countries and continents to be a part of an Indian Wedding in America.
Of course under the new normal we might not see such extravagant and large events taking place. It might be the case that it will just be the bride, groom and their close families that are allowed at the venue (especially registration office). With airlines restrictions and with most countries having closed their borders – it might mean that it will be important to “stream” the wedding so that family and friends far and away can still be a part of the wedding.

Since it will be fewer number of guests that might be allowed to physically attend the wedding.
